Thank you for agreeing to present at SME’s MicroManufacturing Conference featuring the Medical Manufacturing Innovation Series going beyond micro scheduled for April 16-17, 2013.
You have an important role in this world-class industry program and we look forward to your participation. We hope that the information provided here will be beneficial to you.
Promotional Materials—DUE ASAP
To bring more excitement and to make the event website more interactive, we are asking all speakers to provide the following if at all possible.
- Photo: Since this will be used for the web site only, a low res version is suitable. We are looking for head shots.
- Video links: Do you have a short, non-sales video posted online? Relevant videos should be on the topic you will present or of you speaking. Preferred length is less than five minutes.

All forms must be received by March 20, 2013
If you have not already done so or if you have changes to the biography submitted with your abstract, please complete and return this form which allows the session chair to introduce you appropriately.
Audio Visual Requirements
An LCD projection unit will be provided, although each speaker is responsible for providing his/her own laptop. We will provide channel switchers with each projector to facilitate connecting speaker laptops and transition between speakers. If you have additional A/V needs, please email us at email@example.com

SME is seeking your permission to print and distribute this paper/presentation in all media formats as needed or requested. One form per presentation is required.
All presentations for the event will be distributed via a proceedings CD/flash drive. Please be sure to submit your presentation by the deadline to guarantee inclusion. We have developed a powerpoint template for your use/reference. This template is optional.
Sharing your experience and insights in a written technical paper helps archive manufacturing knowledge for use by practitioners and researchers. The SME archive contains more than 17,000 fully searchable research and case-study papers, which are available as free downloads to SME members and are distributed worldwide through databases and content licenses. Authoring a written technical paper is a personal point of pride and gains recognition for your organization’s technology advancements. Five (5) certification credits are available for authoring a published technical paper, with three (3) additional certification credits given for presenting a technical paper.
Complete registration online: As a presenter, SME is pleased to offer you complimentary admission to the full conference, exhibits, and your choice of a workshop; your badge will allow access to all sessions including all micro and medical sessions. To ensure accurate information, complete the online registration form selecting “Speaker/Advisor Registration” and indicating all of your attendance plans. Your badge and credentials will be available for pickup on site at the SME registration desk outside the exhibit hall.
